Hero Nani seems to be on cloud nine after the success of 'Ala Modhalaindi'. Sources say his tantrums are sky high now and producers are suffering because of his arrogance. Nani is currently doing 'Eega' with S S Rajamouli as the director. Besides he has the bi-lingual film 'Sega' ready for release.

Before 'Ala Modalaindi' released, he had signed 'Pilla Zamindar' which stars Bindu Madhavi and Haripriya. The movie was launched in October 2010. He also shot for the first schedule of  this film at Guntur in February this year. However, now he says he is busy with big films and is refusing to give dates. About 70 percent of the film has been shot and if Nani gives dates, the rest of the shooting could be complete. The movie was originally slated to release in April.

The movie is produced by D S Rao who made films like 'Kalavar King' and directed by Ashok the director of 'Aakasha Ramanna'.

"Success has got on to his head. He can't trouble producers like this just because they are small producers. There is nothing wrong in giving priority to big director but it doesn't mean he delays his commitments. He doesn't even respond to our calls" a film crew said.

The film unit is miffed with Nani's behaviour and his priority to bigger banners and directors. A few film makers have suggested the producer to lodge a complaint on the actor with the Movie Artistes' Association.

As announced earlier, noted producer Dil Raju is making preparations for his next film Stylish Star Allu Arjun. 

The buzz is that script work has been completed and the title ‘Lover’ is being considered for the film. It will be directed by Vasu Varma, the director of ‘Josh’.

Heroine is yet to be selected. Music will be composed by S Thaman. More details of this project will be out soon officially.

Allu Arjun is currently busy with patch works of his forthcoming flick ‘Badrinath’. It is directed by VV Vinayak and is slated for on 10th of June. On the other side, Dil Raju is enjoying the success of his latest production, ‘Mr Perfect.’

Successful director Rajamouli and Rebel Star Prabhas has earlier come up with a sensational blockbuster ‘Chatrapathi’. Earlier there was news that Rajamouli is in plans to make a new film with Prabhas again. Sources say that the film is titled as ‘Brahmarshi Viswamitra’ and the film will hit the sets in the mid 2011.

However, Rajamouli and Prabhas are currently busy in their own projects. While Prabahs is busy with his Mr.Perfect opposite Kajal and Tapsee in the lead roles, Rajamouli is busy with the recently launched ‘Eega’ that is likely to start its shoot in January.

Presently Nagarjuna and Anushka are busy romancing in Europe by shaking their legs for a song for ‘Damarukam’, a socio-fantasy flick directed by Srinivasa Reddy and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers.

Achireddy, presenter of the film, says, ‘We have a good association with director Srinivasa Reddy and he gave a couple of hits on our banner earlier. We always try to encourage the talent and when he narrated us a novel storyline which is very interesting. We all impressed with it and gave him a go ahead. Really he worked very hard to develop the storyline and prepared the entire script. We don’t want to compromise at any point of time and gave him a free hand.’

Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Pradeep Rawat, Brahmanandam, Krishna Bhagwan, Ahuti Prasad, Ali, Venu Madhav, Raghubabu, MS Narayana, Jeeva and others are in the cast.

Naga Chaitanya is presently enjoying the success of his latest film ‘100% Love’. Now he is busy shooting for his next film with Kajal playing the female lead in various locales in and around Hyderabad.

The movie which is being shot with a working title ‘Dream Lover’ is being directed by Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Chandra Reddy on the banner of Sri Kamakshi Enterprises.

It is worth mentioning here that D Sivaprasad Reddy is one of the best friends of Nagarjuna, while his son Chandra Reddy is a close pal to Nag’s son Naga Chaitanya.

The film had almost completed 50 per cent of its shooting so far. The film is based on a love subject with action in its backdrop.

As per the available information, the producer is making efforts to release the film in August.

Devisri Prasad scored music for the movie and it is learnt that the film unit is likely to decide the title through a contest.

Naga Chaitanya and Tamannah starrer '100% Love' is all set to be remade in Hindi. Sources close to the film claim that talks are on between the director and Bollywood heroes on its remake. Though we are not sure which hero might be roped in to do the role of 'Balu' played by Naga Chaitanya, we hear that Sukumar himself will direct this movie in Hindi also.

Sources say it could either be Ranbir Kapoor or Imran Khan who could do this film in Hindi. "The news is not confirmed yet. But yes the talks are on" Sukumar is believed to have told media when contacted.

This movie joins the long list of Telugu films that are being remade into Hindi now. 'Ready' of Ram, 'Kick' of Raviteja are being remade into Hindi and Salman Khan is starring in it. We also got to know that writer Kona Venkat's script impressed Bollywood studman Salman Khan and he might tweak the story a bit and do it in Hindi soon.

Director Sukumar hit the bull's eye with '100% Love'. The movie turned out to be a major hit. Now we hear that he might direct a movie with Mahesh Babu as the hero. Though the details of the film are not known, we hear that he narrated a story to Mahesh and the star is mightily impressed with it.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that Sukumar might even direct the Hindi remake of 100 % Love soon.

Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Srinu Vytla's 'Dhookudu'. This movie starring Samantha is being shot abroad now and is slated for July release.

"Talks are on between Mahesh and Sukumar. Mahesh hasn't signed any film after 'Dhookudu'. He was supposed to start shooting for Maniratnam project but that got shelved now. Sukumar's project could be the one" a source informs.

Let us wait and see if Sukumar will be able to do a film with Mahesh at all.

Prince Mahesh’s forthcoming film ‘Dhookudu’ has recently completed its shooting in Hyderabad. Next schedule is planned in Switzerland.

Film unit is flying to Switzerland today (May 11). The scheduled starts tomorrow and goes till 27th of May. It is learnt that a song and a small talkie part will be shot there.

The buzz is that filmmakers are planning to release the audio on 10th of July and the film on 12th of August.  

Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film is said to be an action-packed entertainer. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the leading lady opposite Mahesh Babu. Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram are producing the film on the banner of 14reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Krishna Productions is presenting it.

Other cast includes Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Nazar and Vennela Kishore.

S Thaman composed music while Prasad Murella handles cinematography.

Raviteja’s next movie titled Nippu will be directed by Gunasekhar. The latest addition to this project is YVS Chowdary. Despite being one of the top rated directors in Tollywood, YVS has come up to produce this movie.

Gunasekhar planned to make this film with the title Katti but as that title was taken away by Kalyan Ram, he opted for a fresh title Nippu (Fire). Gunasekhar is not in a good form from many years. This will be a swim or sink situation for him.

Even YVS Chowdary is not having good times at the box office. He is looking to bounce back with Nippu and Rey in which the latter is being directed by YVS himself.

Megastar nephew Sai Dharma Teja is making debut with the movie rey directed by YVS Chowdary,the movie started way back on last Vijaya Dasami.And due to the strike of union workers of Telugu industry the shooting which was planned abroad did not materialise and the visa taken for America have expired so the unit again waited to get the valid visas and they have shot from March 26th to April 26th in Malaysia also some fight sequences have been shot after which the unit returned back and are shooting in Hyderabad.

Director YVS Chowdary said that the unit is planning to shoot in America from 10th June and as the story demands the first half of the movie will be majorly in West Indies and second half of the movie will be in America and said the the movie is made in the limitations of FDC and is a high budget film,this music oriented love story is coming with the caption " shout for success" and is slated to release in this year

Heroine Nitya Menon saiid that movie was made with team work and said that music by Joshwa Sridhar is very good.

Prince Mahesh Babu's next movie 'The Businessman' to be directed by Puri Jagannadh will start shooting from July.Sources say Kajal has been finalised as the heroine for this project. This is the first time Kajal is acting with Mahesh. The Muhurtham shot will be picturised in July but the regular shooting will take place from August.

'Guns don't need agreements' is the caption for the title. Venkat from R R Movie makers is producing this high budget flick.

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s next Telugu film ‘Bejawada Rowdilu’ shooting began today (Thursday, May 12, 2011) in Vijayawada. This Nagachaitanya starrer is being directed by a debutant, Vivek Krishna, who comes from RGV’s school. Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing the film on Shreya Productions banner. Vanditha Koneru is presenting it.

‘Bejawada Rowdilu’ is said to be based on the gang wars that happened in Vijayawada almost two decades ago. RGV had earlier made the film ‘Shiva’ with such a backdrop. In fact, it was his debut, which went to be big hit and also gave a big breakthrough to King Nagarjuna’s film career. Now ‘Bejawada Rowdilu’ is coming with similar storyline. But unlike ‘Shiva’ in which, Nagarjuna turns a gangster from a student, ‘Bejawada Rowdilu’ will portray Nagachaitanya as a young intellectual guy who turns a smart politician than becoming a rowdy.

The first schedule of the film will be shot in Vijayawada from today (Thursday, May 12, 2011) to 27th of this month. Filmmakers are planning to complete the film in three more schedules that will be shot in June, July and August, and release it for Dassera in October.

The producer is getting ready to launch the audio as soon as possible and is making efforts to release the film in June. MM Keeravani scored music for this film.

Director Vinayak says, ‘Bunny had undergone a special training in some martial arts for the film in Vietnam as he was playing the role of an Indian Samurai. The highlights of the film would be the action scenes choreographed by Peter Heynes. Especially the combination of Allu Arjun and Tamanna who shook legs for the audio of Keeravani would win the hearts of youth and general audiences.'

Moreover, the film has special effects from Kamal Kannan. Gauthamraju is taking care of editing while art director Anand Sai designed the sets, Chinnikrishna penned the story and cinematography is by Ravi Varman for the flick.

This would be the first release after Bunny’s marriage.

According to a report published by a leading daily, Jr. NTR and Ileana weren't in a good terms during the shooting of Shakti due to some ego clashes and even had fights on a few occasions.
Notably, their Shakti failed miserably and one of the negative points, the critics say, is the poor on screen chemistry between the lead actors. During the shooting, Ileana always used to be in her van and appeared only when the shot was ready, it is said. Sources further say that the quarrels between Jr. NTR and Ileana affected their performance in the film. Report claims that the relationship between NTR and Ileana was strained in 2006 during Rakhi's shoot also and since then, they had been avoiding each other.
