The shooting of ‘Idhuthanda Police-2’ came to a  sudden halt in Chennai on Monday when Dr Rajasekhar, the protagonist of  the film, hurt his head and hand while performing an action sequence.
 According to sources, the stunt scene was being shot  on the Kilpauk Medical College premises on Monday morning when the  doctor-turned-actor fell down from a 10-ft high place.
 “He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in  Thousand Lights area where he was given treatment by doctors. It was  found that there is a fracture in his right hand. Doctors have advised  him complete rest,” sources said.
 The film, which is a bilingual (titled ‘Mahankali’ in  Telugu) is being directed by Rajasekhar’s wife Jeevitha. “Shooting will  continue as soon as Rajasekhar returns with good health.”
